Founder
The proud owner of Luminis Business Solutions. Originally from St. Louis, Alyssa now resides in Louisville with her husband and dogs. Holding a degree from the University of Missouri - Saint Louis, she is committed to helping small businesses thrive. In her free time, Alyssa enjoys exploring new places, hiking, tending to her garden, and enjoying live music.

Shannon Lopez
Administrative Operations Manager
After a decade in the healthcare industry as a medical billing and coding specialist, Shannon’s transition to the Luminis Solutions team was sparked by a desire for a more hands-on approach to helping others. She has been with Luminis from the very beginning. Shannon holds a degree in English and studied at Texas Woman’s University. She values meaningful moments with family, friends, and her three dogs. In her free time, she enjoys reading, cross-stitching, Pilates, and hiking the trails in beautiful Northwest Arkansas. She believes in the power of compassion and continuous learning, both professionally and personally.

Jennifer Booth Roddis
IT & Systems Operations Manager
Jen is a Michigan native with a fairly eclectic background. She earned dual Bachelor's degrees in Criminal Justice and Social Psychology and later returned to school to earn a Master's in Criminal Justice. She spent over a decade working for the public schools before moving on to become a foster care worker for the state of Michigan. Jen found fulfillment in working with at-risk youth and witnessing them overcome obstacles to reach goals they had been told were unattainable. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her Labrador Arlo, as well as hiking, crocheting, and sipping coffee.

Angela is a content strategist and digital marketer with a passion for helping brands connect with their audiences through thoughtful storytelling. Her work focuses primarily on social media and email, where she helps shape brand voice, create meaningful content, and build stronger relationships with customers through clear, engaging communication. She brings a blend of creativity, strategy, and audience insight to every project, with a special interest in helping businesses tell their story in a way that feels both authentic and effective. Outside of work, Angela enjoys being a mother, creative writing, gardening, and building her own digital brands around ideas she can't get out of her head.

Alison Galyon
Senior Administrative
Operations Specialist
Joining the Luminis team as an Administrative Assistant after three years as an event coordinator, Alison is known for her organizational skills and attention to detail. Alison helps clients declutter their workflows and enjoys spending time outdoors, particularly playing tennis or pickleball.

Emilie Foster

A military spouse originally from Charlottesville, VA, she is currently living in Wiesbaden, Germany. With a degree in Hospitality and Tourism from Radford University, she has experience as a flight attendant and in luxury resorts, and enjoys exploring new places, walking her dogs, and trying new foods.

Megan Frye
Administrative & Financial
Operations Specialist
Megan is a North New Jersey native with a background that blends both business and creativity. She earned her MBA in Business Administration, including coursework in accounting and financial management, and has worked across a variety of industries, including pharmaceuticals, finance, bookkeeping, real estate, insurance, contracts administration, and operational support.
Over the years, she has gained experience supporting bookkeeping and financial tracking tasks such as invoices, reconciliations, expense tracking, reporting, data organization, and administrative financial processes. She also has working experience with QuickBooks and is comfortable using bookkeeping systems, spreadsheets, and financial documentation, while continuing to grow her knowledge in the field.
Outside of work, Megan enjoys developing creative projects and combining them with her love of entertaining children by creating animated videos starring her two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Molly and Emma. She also works on personal creative projects in memory of her late husband, Keith, who was a children’s magician, with Megan serving as his balloon twister and face painter.
In her free time, Megan enjoys curating music, writing, exploring new creative ideas, and spending time with Molly and Emma, who bring plenty of love and a little sass into her daily life.

After studying Travel & Tourism at Clemson University, Meghan worked in Marketing before transitioning into the Leisure Travel industry. Known for her attention to detail, Meghan loves crafting seamless travel itineraries and enjoys exploring nature, painting, and practicing yoga in her free time.

Barbara is a Florida-based professional with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Florida International University. As a licensed Florida Real Estate Sales Associate, she brings expertise in operations coordination, marketing, and client relations. Recently, she developed social media strategies, content, and ads across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, NextDoor, and Google Business. She has promoted wellness at healthcare and pharmaceutical clinics through events, content creation, and marketing management, as well as contributed to product promotion and product development. Barbara excels in process-oriented roles, emphasizing accountability and data-driven results.

After earning her undergraduate degree in International Business and Spanish from Oral Roberts University and an MBA from Cleveland State University, Jacquelyn built a career spanning education, marketing, and cross-cultural research. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Leadership at Bowling Green State University, where her research explores the cultural and social dynamics of governance in Ghana. Known for her analytical rigor and cultural fluency, Jacquelyn has a deep love for traveling, learning languages, and teaching Spanish.

Makenna Ewing
Administrative Operations Specialist
Makenna was born and raised in Oklahoma and currently resides there with her husband, son, and daughter. She graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Psychology and Sociology. After spending eight years operating daycares, she decided it was time for a new chapter and discovered a passion for travel. Her strengths include managing multiple tasks at once while maintaining strong attention to detail and organization. Outside of work, Makenna enjoys working out, baking, reading, and crafting with her kids.

Cate Hoepner
Administrative Operations Specialist
Cate brings a balance of structure and creativity to help clients achieve their goals. With over a decade of experience in executive support, content creation, and daily operations, she is known for building strong client relationships while delivering warmth and seamless organization to every project she supports.
She is currently pursuing her Digital Marketing Certification to further serve growing businesses. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, tending to her hobby farm, and spending time with her family.
